Overview

Slush has grown from a 300-person assembly to an event of true global magnitude. The philosophy behind Slush remains the same: to help the next generation of great, world-conquering founders. Slush would not exist without our volunteers. By volunteering you will see how Europe’s leading startup and tech event is built – from the inside. You will meet interesting people, learn a lot of new things and get a chance to be part of the unique volunteer community with people from over 50 countries.

Slush would not exist without our volunteers. Simple as that. Join us and see how the world’s leading startup and tech event is built – from the inside.

Slush would not exist without our volunteers. Simple as that. Join us and see how the world’s leading startup and tech event is built – from the inside.

The organization behind Slush is non-profit, driven by students, and every year we gather more than 2,000 enthusiastic volunteers who make the event happen.

WANT TO RUN THE SHOW? JOIN US.

Each year over 2000 enthusiastic volunteers from over 50 countries join us to make the event happen. By volunteering at Slush, you’ll learn tons of new skills, broaden your professional networks, make new friends and become part of the global Slush community which exists throughout the year, not just during the two days of mayhem.

At the event, you’ll also have access to our Matchmaking tool with unique recruiting possibilities in some of the most interesting tech companies in the world. Who knows? You might end up catching that job you should have applied for ages ago.

If you have any questions regarding volunteering at Slush, please drop us a line to volunteers@slush.org.

VOLUNTEERS FROM ABROAD

Just obsessed with the Nordic way of doing things? Want to learn more about the startup ecosystem functions?

International Slush volunteers get the chance to apply for The Shortcut Talent Heist: a full week of Slush volunteer experience in Helsinki. The program includes company visits, networking and making new friends.

THE WORLD'S LEADINGSTARTUP EVENT - A gathering of 25,000 curious minds, including 3,500 startups and 2,000 investors. See you in Helsinki on Nov 20—21, 2024.

MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT.

Slush wants to leave the world better than we found it, and so sustainability is a core part of how Slush operates.

Slush is an EkoKompassi/EcoCompass certified event, and this is just the start. Whether it is reducing our environmental footprint by using only tap water and biodegradable disposables, promoting diversity and equality in recruiting for social inclusiveness, or by using only green electricity for our event, we set the bar high for minimizing the harm we do while amplifying the good.

HUSTLING NEAR AND FAR.

Over the past seven years, Slush has grown from a 300-person gathering to become a global community organizing more than 75 events with +40,000 attendees all around the world. Each city and each community adds its own local flavour to the global network. Be it the cherry blossoms of Japan or the rhythms of Jamaica, we always like to throw some spices into the mix of entrepreneurs and tech.

In addition to our global community events in Helsinki, Tokyo, Shanghai and Singapore, Slush is expanding rapidly to other parts of the world. We co-organize events together with the most prominent startup hubs across all continents.
