Details
As a UX Writer Student Assistant at WS Audiology, you will be part of our Global Marketing department. As a UX team member, you will work on a range of software projects including:
- Audiological tools for fitting hearing aids
- Apps to support hearing aid wearers
- Remote fitting solutions
You will work in an agile environment with UX Designers, Audiologists, Software Developers, and Marketing Experts.
What you will do
- Write clear and consistent user interface texts
- Review text drafts created by UX designers or audiologists
- Update product-specific content guidelines based on best practices for UX writing
- Identify, research, and manage terminology to maintain consistency
- Improve our text writing processes and practices with tools, research, and metrics
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and progress

What you bring
- You are an enrolled student in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, English or American Studies, English, Communications, Journalism, HCI, or similar
- You are fluent in English both verbally and in writing. German is a plus.
- Attention to detail and good editing skills.
- You are familiar with MS Office tools.
Bonus points if
- You have experience writing clear and concise copy for digital products.
- You have experience writing clear and user-friendly instructional texts.
- Terminology management is something you are familiar with.
- You have experience working with multi-lingual products.
- You know digital design processes and general UX design principles.
- You have experience working with Figma or Sketch.
