Are you ready to dive into the world of People Operations and make a real impact in a dynamic international retail company? This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in HR and learn about various operational processes that keep our teams running smoothly!

The role is available as of February for 40 hours a week for 5-6 months at our Amsterdam HQ. In this position you will report into our People Operations Specialist.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Administrative Support: Assist with drafting employment contracts, collecting onboarding information, and maintaining employee data in our HR system HiBob.

  • Employee Interaction: Regularly communicate with employees and store managers, answering questions and proactively seeking relevant information.

  • Payroll Preparation: Help prepare the monthly payroll by checking all necessary changes and documentation.

  • Research: Conduct research on employee legislation to support People Business Partners with advisory cases and policy changes.

  • Recruitment Collaboration: Ensure our new hires in retail are processed correctly and able to start on time.

Description of Ideal Candidate

About you:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Skills: Excellent people and communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and highly organised;

  • Language: Fluent in English. Dutch and/or German are a big plus!

  • Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

  • Attitude: A hands-on mentality and eagerness to learn and grow.
