Scholarships in Sweden

The Nordic Africa Institute conducts research and offers resources that help further understanding about contemporary Africa.
The scholarships will cover the full cost of tuition fees for studies at Uppsala University. It is for Master’s programmes that start on 30 August 2025 and are offered during the current admission round. The scholarships do not cover living expenses.
One of the Nordic Africa Institute’s Strategic goals is to contribute to building capacity in the production of knowledge about Africa.

This scholarship is for students who have applied for and been admitted to a Master´s programme at the School of Business, Economics and Law and are required to pay a tuition fee for education in Sweden.

The King Carl Gustaf Scholarship is aimed at students who live in unsafe and dangerous conditions in areas affected by conflict or natural disasters. 
Four scholarships will be awarded in 2025 to students who are citizens of one of 143 countries. The scholarship comprises a full tuition fee waiver and is funded by the the Adlerbert Foundations.
Mälardalen University (abbreviated MDH) is one of Sweden’s large institutes of higher education. The University has over 14,000 students studying our 52 programmes and 1,000 courses, and almost 900 faculty and staff.
Karolinska Institutet offers around 10 scholarships per year to excellent students who have been admitted to one of our global master’s programmes. The scholarship is distributed across all the global master’s programmes.
